It's
difficult for me to believe it's almost two years since I updated this website.
I don't know that time flies when you are having fun time just seems to fly whether
the times are fun or not. It has been a busy couple of years.

'The
Miscreated Monster' chess set through buy-chess-sets.com is now in
production and apparently sell to Russia The
Mythical Creature chess set has proven to be popular product. I've also sculpted
a Dragon and Unicorn naughts and crosses set for Ben and done some work on a
Native American animal art chess set.
Jar
creatures continue to be popular, especially through Gargoyles Statuary in the
Seattle area. A big thank you to Hill and Gayle for taking care of the little
monsters in America.
One
project misfired badly for me. I was asked to contribute/work on an animated
film by a friend but it quickly became apparent that we wouldn't be able to work
together. ' Creative Differences' is a wonderful covers everything term. Its a
shame because there were some nice ideas in there, but sometimes working with
friends can be as neat a trick to pull off as tap dancing blindfolded through a
mine field. I wish them all the luck in the world. Check the projects progress

Last
Summer I became involved in a very small way in the 'Dreams and Ruins' dance
project performed in the remains of what was Whitley Court. It was an impressive
back drop and a great many artists, performers and organizations worked very
hard to make the project the success it turned out to be. As I said my
involvement was very small. I helped to build five models of Whitley Court that
were burnt during performances.

Through
my work at The Custard Factory I've become involved, and exhibited with an art
collective called The Outcrowd. Pieces I've built for Outcrowd exhibitions
include 'Tower II' as part of their contribution to the architecture week
exhibitions and the pieces 'Flyboy' and 'Don't Care Bear' for the very
successful exhibition titled 'It's A Sad and Beautiful World'. There are plans
in the early stages for an Outcrowd book. I've enjoyed working as part of the
Outcrowd. I've been a member of a number of groups and societies over the years
but I think this is a first in that it really operates as a group of likeminded
individuals.
Unfortunately
I don't know how long I'll be involved with the Outcrowd as my association with
The Custard Factory and The Framers came to an abrupt end on the 1st February
2006 with a change of management. So this year looks like being a year of big
changes.
