1997 to present day. Freelance sculptor, designer and model maker. Responsible for finding and carrying out a variety of different creative projects that include taking on private commissions, the design and production of awards for events such as The Fantastic Film Festival in Manchester. Sculpting for large and small production run pieces. Design and creative work for use in various animation and photography projects. The design and manufacture of hand crafted items and exhibition pieces. Model making for toy production. Also experienced as a member of an exhibition construction team. Has also worked as part of a team running various art shows. Work
A
piece of my work was photographed by Peter Kandhola and used in the art work for
the band UB40’s album ‘Promises and Lies’ and the single ‘Ce
La Vie.’ I worked on the Dairylea Dinosaur TV commercial while working at The Puppet Factory. Other work for them included work on puppets for a series of Burger King TV commercials for screening in America. Since
1991 I have produced the SOFFIA award for the Society of Fantastic Films.
Recipients include Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Ray Harryhausen and John
Landis. From 2002 onwards I have exhibited as a member of The Outcrowd art collective.
